Importance | 2013. First built NDA project in SE Asia.
Project Aim | Design an authentic Thai villa - The first hotel that optimizes built space in nature.
We created 6 villa and apartment prototypes that the owner could build at will. Each design offers unique nature-lead guest experiences whilst maintaining privacy and luxury.
Inspired by the rich cultural and architectural heritage passed on by Thai builders across the centuries, the Samui Beach Properties Villas bring a traditional and ecological pattern of living into modernity.
The unmistakable distinctive Thai roofs hark at centuries-old tradition, yet we’ve brought them into modernity with a contemporary horizontal rhythm that is at once recognizable whilst being perfectly integrated.
VILLA PARADISE
On the beach itself, Villa Paradise is a generous complex of seafront amenities like infinity pools, pavilions, terraces and outdoor massage areas, that draw residents and create a natural gathering place from which to experience the majesty of the sea.
VILLA MANGO
Villa Mango separates guest bedrooms from social areas by the entrance patio to exercise a clear-cut sequence of different spatial values and qualities.
VILLA MIMOSA
(Not yet built) Villa Mimosa combines the seemingly antithetical desires for outdoor living with privacy. The outdoor areas are organized into a continuous succession of spaces that organically unravel around indoor areas.
