NDA’S DESIGN LETS YOU SKI IN THE CITY!

The Urban Indoor Snow Park is the zenith of snow-themed FECs (Family Entertainment Centre). 

 With this concept, we challenged ourselves to create an indoor snow park so engaging with activities, learning, shopping, and hospitality that guests are eager to maximise their time at the complex.

 China’s vast population of newly empowered consumers love to explore new experiences, and the Urban Indoor Snow Park combats the limitation of skiing being seasonal by providing an incredibly authentic ski experience whilst also allowing for winter escapes all year round.

 Ski & Snow Lifestyle

 We set out to create an activity, retail, and hospitality destination that excites and captivates all audiences, giving them a must-visit hotspot year round.

 We achieved this by capturing skiing’s unmistakable glamour, alongside the reassuring warmth that comes from friends and family gathering after a day packed with fun activities.

 From the incredible slopes of North America to the glamorous Swiss après-aki scene, to fairy-tale polar regions and Santa’s the North Pole, we recreated a frozen wonderland under one roof, taking guests on a grand global tour.  

 Activities for All

 We innovated on the FEC concept by creating routes and activities for including families but also ski lovers and thrill seekers. 

 These routes keep guests engaged through an engrossing story, as well as maximising efficiency by using both shared and unique attractions. 

 Each route takes guests along almost 20 activities and attractions. The Family Outing tour includes the Polar Zoo and Santa’s Workshop, the Extreme Adventure tour gives thrill seekers a rush with bungee jumping and snowboarding, whilst the Ski Lifestyle tour takes ski lovers from slalom to après!

 NDA’s Vision

 With innovation in our DNA, we undertook an explorative journey of designing the Urban Indoor Snow Park, where we incorporated our vast experience from designing ski resorts and non-snow FEC designs. 

 Thus we designed the Urban Indoor Snow Park to have both indoor and outdoor slopes, the latter a full summer and winter outdoor slope resulting in the iconic whirlpool design, which links to the nearby park, maximizes length of the slope, and creates the world’s longest urban artificial ski slope. 

 NDA distilled the world’s best winter experiences and placed them into one of our most iconic designs to date. The Urban Indoor Snow Park brings the ultimate in mountain lifestyle experiences to the city, all in one place, and fully explorable over a weekend.
