NDA'S 3 PROJECTS SHORTLISTED FOR 2019 CITYSCAPE AWARDS!
NDA Group is delighted and proud to announce that three of our projects have been shortlisted in this year's Cityscape Global Awards for the Emerging Markets - The most prestigious award that recognises and celebrates outstanding property development and architectural design projects.
NDA’s Sunbay Park Hotel and Resort and Mui Dinh South Resort projects in Vietnam as well as the Citychamp Dartong Plaza project in China have been shortlisted for the residential, hospitality and commercial categories of Cityscape awards, respectively.
The winners’ announcement will take place on Wednesday, 25 September at The InterContinental Dubai Festival City. The industry will come together for the eagerly anticipated announcement as well as the convergence of industry experts, investors, architects, developers and other important VIP guests.
1. SUNBAY PARK HOTEL AND RESORT PROJECT, VIETNAM
The Sunbay Hotel and Resort project in Vietnam is located on the coastline of the beautiful Phan Rang bay, covering an area of 9 hectares. The Sunbay project is anticipated to become a symbolic building of the city in the future. In terms of functions, Sunbay offers entertainment and service facilities ranging from restaurants, spas and convention halls to a fully equipped water park. With the total GFA up to 282,000 m2, Sunbay provides over 1400 hotel rooms and 1700 apart-hotel accommodations respecting a 5-star standard. The design is inspired by the indigenous Champa culture.
2. MUI DINH SOUTH RESORT, VIETNAM
The Mui Dinh South resort project also in Vietnam covers an area of 88 hectares. It is a 4-star resort-style complex composed of 86 villas and a 420-room hotel. This is on top of a broad offer of leisure and entertainment amenities including: a commercial village, spa, gaming and convention center and F&B facilities, just to name a few. The main idea for the project was to provide an incomparable resort experience for the guests whilst at the same time respecting the environment and promoting good tourism practices.
3. CITYCHAMP DARTONG PLAZA, FUZHOU, CHINA
The Citychamp Dartong Plaza project is located in Fuzhou, China, with a total construction area of 100,000 m2. Local traditional elements were heavily featured in the architectural framework. Concentrated on the province’s world-acclaimed tradition of circular multi-family dwellings known as “Fujian Tulou”, the buildings’ volume is generated by morphologic algorithms that re-actualize age-old spatial prototypes. This complex will provide a 24-hour vibrant urban lifestyle with four business types: office, commerce, serviced apartments and a yacht club.
