NDA Group wins 1st place for Jiuzhou Port design competition

NDA is proud to announce winning first place in the JiuZhou Port Marina plan competition which was hosted by Zhuhai Jiuzhou Holdings Co., LTD. Located in the south of Jiuzhou harbor, Xiangzhou District in Zhuhai city, Hong Kong sits east across the water, while Macau faces to the south. 

The project site enjoys a nice site view, convenient traffic system, and sound surrounding infrastructure. The marina plan and architectural conceptual design submitted by NDA Group included a yacht club, yacht maintenance area, yacht trading center, yachting lifestyle Street, and conference center. Covering an area of 38,500 m2 and with 106 berths, the design aims to regenerate Jiuzhou Port. 

The concept design includes a short-term and long-term marina plan using budget control methods used during the preliminary studies analyzing the site. The final design was achieved after an in-depth analysis of a port influenced by the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, as a part of the overall urban regeneration project integrating transportation, tourism, and cultural aspects. This is not only aimed at meeting the trend of traffic condition changes, but also to lead the land and industry of both Jiuzhou Port and Zhuhai sustainable development.
