The Project
The project is located in the north-eastern edge of Hainan island - a site with great natural resources:dotted with giant stones, it is one of the best places to watch rocket launching from the space center on the opposite shore.
NDA designs a 100,000sqm complex which includes a 30,000sqm service apartment building, a 40,000sqm commercial street and a 40,000 sqm 5 star hotel. Terraced volumes are considered in order to maximize natural views and provide more plaza spaces for activities. In order to adapt to the tropical weather in Hainan, we introduced an indoor commercial street besides the outdoor one, providing a comfortable shopping area when in hot weather and featuring numerous retailtainment highlights.
